Biology Notebook Requirements
Mrs. Nicolella’s Class
Mrs. Nicolella’s Class
- Each student is required to have a separate three ring (1 ½ inch ring or larger) notebook only for biology. This notebook will be collected several times during the semester for a grade. (Each notebook check will be worth a 100 point notebook check grade).
- A number of dividers should be purchased also to separate the sections. Please provide at least 6-7 dividers. Construction Paper may also be used as a divider.
- In the event, you cannot purchase a notebook or dividers please see me before or after school.
Notebook Requirements
- Notes – any notes taken during class should be included in the notebook.
- Worksheets/Do Nows/Bell Ringers/Labs/Homework - any homework that has been given out in class and that we have gone over in class must also be present in the notebook for credit. If you are absent during the review of homework, please check my website for what you have missed. Please visit: http://nicolella.weebly.com
Absences
- In the event you are absent, please make sure you check my website in order to gain access to the information stated above. You will find on my website a class calendar listing lesson plans and access to assignments that you can download. It is crucial that you come to class and be active in class!
- Students should “make-up” missing warm-ups via my class website and notes by asking a classmate (and also retrieving their handouts from their folder for make-up work).
Make sure this is a priority and turn it in when it is due!
